CURRENT CLASSES at Rossmoor Senior Community in Walnut, Creek, California:

1. Beginner/Intermediate - Functional Movement

This class will show a system of movement exploration that allows the participant to become aware of the body"s center of gravity and postural alignment affect balance and muscle reflex action. We will look at how the stabilization of the feet, knees, hips torso and shoulders, prior to movement, create a solid foundation for the control of muscles and coordination. This eliminates unnecessary movement and reduces the risk of injury in every activity in our lives.

2. Advanced - Functional Movement

This class will further challenge the student using the system of movement exploration incorporating all the principles and techniques from the Beginner/Intermediate class.
