Pilates-based Exercises, Body Mechanics, Gym Ball, Resistance Bands and Muscle Ball Release

All balance and movement starts in your core or torso; therefore, you begin with core training or core conditioning. The torso's role is to transfer force, produce power, link lower body to upper, and stabilize. It is the center of all body movement. The stronger the core, the more stable and efficient the movement.

A key component to any exercise is body mechanics. Body mechanics refers to the way you move during daily activities. This strengthening is integral for postural alignment. It is the utilization of correct muscles to complete a movement safely and efficiently and to avoid injury.

Lee provides a variety of exercise techniques to fit the unique needs of each client, fulfilling their personal goals. All exercises are non-impact and geared to your personal fitness level. Exercise is about feeling good and having fun without the dreaded 'day after pain’!   As metabolism begins to slow in your 50's and beyond, muscles tighten, inhibiting the full range of motion. Functional fitness programs become more important than ever to improve posture, prevent injury and relieve stress. This program is designed to address your changing body's needs and to inspire you to get in shape.

Lee's approach is to:
Identify and correct the root cause of postural muscle imbalances utilizing Muscle Ball Release Technique. This technique releases tight muscles and its surrounding connective tissue.
Develop an exercise program, using Mats (Pilates-Based), Gym Balls, Resistance Bands. These approaches will re-educate and retrain movement patterns. These exercises are designed to develop and maintain your sense of balance.
Teach T'ai Chi - Many of Lee's insights have come from his T'ai Chi Applications, where learning awareness (alertness), balance, coordination, flexibility, relaxation and strength are fundamental to function and form.
