Pilates-Based movements are used in many physical therapy facilities to rehabilitate injuries.

Lee incorporates these gentle, continuous, low impact movements into his program to help:

  • Improve posture and balance
  • Decrease the risk of injury
  • Increase flexibility
  • Stretch and strengthen muscles
  • Improve mind-body connection

Pilates is an exercise system focused on improving flexibility and strength for the total body without building bulk. It teaches body awareness, good posture, alignment, breathing and easy, graceful movements.

The key to the teaching is strengthening the "core" muscles or muscles of the abdomen, pelvis, hip, lower back and hamstrings.

Lee employs Pilates-Based Movements from his floor exercise training and incorporates them, along with his Chinese Internal Martial Arts training, as the foundation into the other exercise techniques: Gym Balls; and Resistance Bands.
